Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Estates Director to lead our property portfolio and ensure all sites are safe and compliant with Health and Safety legislation.

About the Role:

  1. Lead Estate Management Functions: Plan, develop, and deliver estate management functions across all schools, ensuring effective management and development of the property portfolio.
  2. Manage Estates Contracts: Oversee cleaning, caretaking, and estates contracts, and lead on capital projects to maintain and improve our facilities.
  3. Manage Estates Budgets: Responsible for managing all estates budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective financial management.
  4. Site Visits and Audits: Regularly visit and audit sites, documenting findings and implementing improvements to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Hold a qualification in IOSH/NEBOSH or be studying towards this, with the support of the Trust.
  • Understanding of Estates Management: Possess a good understanding of current Estates Management and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Driving Licence: Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle to visit other sites (expenses will be covered).
