Electronics Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our RF Group, supporting the Electronic and RF testing of exciting projects in the defence industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support various tasks including testing, component level assembly and rework
  • Work with a wide range of electronic technologies and products
  • Design, develop and deliver electronic systems and products
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified with proven ability in electronic design, development and delivery
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Knowledge of RF circuits and components across a wide range of frequencies
  • Practical skills in soldering, fault finding and RF component level assembly
  • Use of RF Laboratory Test Equipment - Spectrum Analysers, VNA's, Power meters
  • Ability to use CAD software such as KiCAD or ORCAD
  • Good communication skills with the ability to produce high quality written reports and presentations

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of RF projects, supporting the Electronic and RF testing of some of the most exciting projects in the defence industry.

We offer a competitive rate of £65 per hour umbrella (Inside IR35) and the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects.
