Job Title: Former Tenant Arrears and Income Officer

Raven Housing Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Former Tenant Arrears and Income Officer to join our Income team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting customers to repay their arrears and develop a payment culture to protect our income.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect former rent, court costs, garage, and recharge arrears.
  • Manage a portfolio of former and current arrears cases to ensure cases are consistently reducing by proactively contacting customers and complying with arrears processes and procedures.
  • Support and assess vulnerabilities and provide a tailored service to suit our former customers' needs and communication preferences.
  • Handle difficult conversations with customers with understanding and empathy, building rapport with customers based on trust and support to encourage former residents to engage.
Requirements:
  • Rent account management experience, including case management.
  • High levels of financial acumen, able to understand complex financial information.
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Experience of working in a rent/income environment – with some knowledge of arrears management.
  • A full, clean, driving license, as this role requires travel.
