Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Willing Care. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that fosters the growth and development of our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Supervise a Team: Oversee a group of infants, prioritizing their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Develop and Implement Educational Programs: Create and execute age-appropriate activities and schedules to encourage learning and growth within our play-based curriculum.
  • Foster Strong Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive nursery community.
  • Support Staff Development: Supervise and facilitate the professional growth of nursery room staff.
  • Record Keeping and Communication: Maintain precise records of children's development and maintain regular communication with parents/guardians.
  • Environment and Compliance: Ensure the nursery environment is orderly, hygienic, and compliant with regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in early years
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with infants in a nursery environment
  • Sound comprehension of child development and early education principles
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in team leadership, mentorship, and support
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safeguarding practices
