Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement tailored learning plans for students.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students in the classroom.
  • Assist students with daily tasks and activities, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Offer emotional support and encouragement to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and report to teachers, ensuring effective communication and support.
  • Provide mainstream support to classrooms, contributing to a productive and inclusive learning space.
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring a high-quality educational experience.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification.
  • Previous experience working with Primary and Secondary aged students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
