Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Catering Manager to oversee the daily operations of our school catering service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and consistency of service, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise catering staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Monitor and control food quality, safety, and presentation
  • Develop and implement catering menus and promotions to meet customer needs
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize resource utilization
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 2 Food Preparation and Cooking qualification
  • Level 2 Food Safety certification
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work term-time only, with occasional evening and weekend shifts
