About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at Supply Allies. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the educational and social development of students with special needs, promoting confidence and independence.
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs, providing personalized support and guidance.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring every student feels valued and supported.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure seamless collaboration and progress tracking.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.
