Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at razorblue Careers. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality infrastructure projects to our clients, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Develop and maintain excellent documentation to support project delivery and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with the service delivery team to ensure seamless project handovers and ongoing support.
  • Implement new technologies and solutions to improve infrastructure efficiency and scalability.
  • Contribute to project scoping, planning, and training initiatives, supporting the growth and development of junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Relevant networking, infrastructure, and Microsoft qualifications (CCNA, JNCP, MCSA, VCP).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365/Azure, including Conditional Access, Azure AD Connect, Exchange Online/Hybrid, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune/Endpoint Management.
  • Cloud experience, including public and private cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Virtualisation experience, including VMware vSphere and Hyper-V environments.
  • VOIP experience, including FreePBX, Mitel, Gamma, Skype/Teams VOIP systems.
  • Security experience, including MDM, MFA, Email Filtering, Next Generation firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
  • Windows Server experience, including installation and configuration.
  • Storage experience, including SAN devices, iSCSI connectivity, and cluster management.
  • Remote Desktop Services experience, including RDS, RemoteApp, and Citrix environments.
  • Networking experience, including network troubleshooting and support for Palo Alto, Sophos, FortiNet, Draytek, Juniper, and Cisco firewalls.
  • Endpoint Support experience, including Windows desktop, application, tablet, and mobile device support.
  • Soft skills, including effective communication, methodical approach to diagnosis and documentation, independent research, organisation, and prioritisation.
