Hexaware Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Data Tech Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge data solutions for our clients within the insurance sector.

As an Azure Data Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading technical discussions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex data engineering projects. Your expertise in Azure technologies and deep understanding of data warehousing principles will be instrumental in driving innovation and delivering impactful results.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of robust and scalable data pipelines within the Azure ecosystem, leveraging tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
  • Proactively engage with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of data pipelines with existing applications and systems.
  • Champion best practices for data governance, security, and compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of proven experience in data engineering and architecture within a cloud environment (Azure preferred).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and other relevant Azure services.
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python, PySpark, Scala).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
