Cleaner Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Pareto FM. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Cleaning Duties: Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including offices, corridors, and common areas.
  • Cleaning Washrooms: Clean and disinfect washrooms, including sinks, toilets, and showers.
  • Cleaning Floors: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Carry Out Cleaning Tasks: Perform cleaning tasks as required by the contract specification and supervisor, with agreed timescales.
  • Dusting and Tidying: Dust and tidy assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Punctuality and Attendance: Be punctual and attend for duty as requested.
  • Chemical and Cleaning Products: Handle and store chemical and cleaning products safely.
  • Quality Standards: Achieve the highest standard of work, with a positive team spirit.
  • Client Expectations: Meet managers, clients, and company expectations.
  • Problem-Solving: Use your initiative to resolve problems where appropriate.
  • Appearance and Conduct: Ensure your appearance and conduct comply with company expectations, and wear appropriate clothing/PPE.
  • Communication: Communicate any unresolved cleaning issues.
