**Job Summary:**
Mitchell Maguire is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team as a High End Fit Out Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the financial aspects of high-end fit out and exterior stone projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the financial aspects of high-end fit out and exterior stone projects, including pricing variations and changes.
- Deal with and sell to Tier 1 developers and fit-out contractors, such as Multiplex, Mace, Willmott Dixon, Kier, McAlpine, Mclaren & Berkeley Groups.
- Keep up to date with site progress through Site/Project Managers, recording progress made, and transferring information onto monthly payment applications.
- Deal with subcontract applications and negotiate subcontractor price.
- Update any changes to the agreed contract scope.
- Keep track of application figures and ensure relevant departments are aware of potential budget or financial constraints.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Work on projects varying in size from £1m to £5m.
Requirements:
- Must have proven quantity surveying experience within the high-end fit out, tiling, or interior and exterior stone market sectors.
- Ideally will have experience within the masonry market sector dealing with interior stone, exterior stone, natural stone, architectural stonework, paving, stone refurbishment.
- Must have excellent communication skills across all levels, both written and verbal.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office).
- Strong numerical skills.
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
- Presentable, humble, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
