About the Role

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to oversee the installation of modular buildings across various sites in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards and within the required timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation of modular buildings, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Conduct pre-tender site visits to assess project requirements
  • Enforce health and safety protocols on site, maintaining a safe working environment
  • Control costs on site, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing waste
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the modular construction sector
  • Previous experience with modular building installation and management
  • CPCS certification for lifting operations
  • Active SMSTS/CSCS certification
  • Knowledge of current health and safety regulations and best practices
