Job Title: Maintenance Assistant

TXM Recruit is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Knightsbridge, London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services to our clients' ultra-high-end mansions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake general property maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, tiling, and general repairs to doors, windows, and locking systems.
  • Install and repair gutters and drainpipe systems.
  • Perform general repairs of basic plumbing.
  • Source materials from local suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Oversee contractors.
  • Assist other staff members as required.
  • Provide cover for colleagues in times of absence and on-call assistance.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.
Requirements:
  • Ability to demonstrate good use of basic hand tools.
  • Knowledge of a building trade, including carpentry, door and window locks, decorating, plastering, and tiling.
  • Sound numerical ability for measuring and making calculations.
  • Recognised C&G, NVQ qualifications.
  • Basic knowledge of current Building Regulations.
  • A thorough understanding of Health and Safety standards.
  • A professional approach with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
  • Significant proven experience.
  • Ability to follow specific instructions.
