Job Title: Attendance Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support our attendance provision here at Castleford Academy. The successful candidate will promote excellent levels of attendance across the Academy, provide a high-level administrative service to support the school's attendance strategy, and support and challenge both pupils and their families to improve their attendance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote excellent levels of attendance across the Academy.
  • Provide a high-level administrative service to support the school's attendance strategy.
  • Support and challenge both pupils and their families to improve their attendance.
  • Contribute to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils who attend the academy.
  • Have overall responsibility for the input of pupil absence/attendance data and ensure its accuracy and relevance.
Requirements:
  • A confident and effective communicator.
  • Experience of working with families with complex needs.
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
  • Proven organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to deal with emotionally charged situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a 'can-do' attitude.
