Staff Assist UK Limited is seeking a reliable and skilled Van Delivery Driver to join our team in Welwyn Garden City. As a Van Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for collecting items from a warehouse or pick-up point, planning routes, and making deliveries to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect items from a warehouse or designated pick-up point.
- Plan and optimize routes to ensure efficient delivery times.
- Load vehicles with items to be delivered, ensuring accurate and secure transportation.
- Make deliveries to customers, obtaining signatures and handling any issues that may arise.
- Record mileage, fuel consumption, and return any undelivered items.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, responding promptly to requests and queries.
- Maintain high service levels and achieve targets set by the company.
- Perform additional duties as required by the company.
Requirements:
- Valid B category driving license.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Physical fitness to perform the demands of the role.
- Excellent team player with a focus on ensuring smooth delivery operations.
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience (for insurance purposes).
- No more than 6 points on the driving license (for insurance purposes).

Work Schedule:
- Day shift.
- Monday to Friday.
- No weekend work.
