Job Description

Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Manager to join our team at Azzurri Group.

Reports to: Operational Lead

Location: London based initially to support Restaurant #1 opening

Azzurri Group is a leading restaurant operator in the UK, with a portfolio of brands including ASK Italian and Zizzi. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are looking for a talented individual to help us achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all new starters are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Work closely with the Operational Lead to translate US Brand Manual to UK version and ensure that all restaurants are operating to the highest standards.
  • Lead the induction and training of new starters, ensuring that they are fully immersed in the Azzurri Group culture and values.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including restaurant managers and HR teams.
  • Assist with the recruitment and selection process for new starters.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to ensure that all staff are up-to-date with the latest procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in restaurant operations, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and customer service.
