Residential Team Leader Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residential Team Leader to join our team at a Children's Residential Home in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire. As a Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers and ensuring the provision of high-quality care to children and young adults with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of support workers to provide excellent care and support to residents.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each resident are met.
  • Conduct regular supervisions and manage performance issues within the team.
  • Coordinate and delegate activities effectively, ensuring the efficient implementation of care plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and undertake sleeping-in duties, waking night duties, and on-call responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in shift/team leading or a supervisory role.
  • Ability to engage in physical intervention and personal care tasks.
  • Willingness to perform sleeping-in duties, waking night duties, and on-call responsibilities as needed.
