Job Overview:

Aston Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Breakfast and After School Club Manager to join their dynamic operational team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and education to children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Build, manage, and develop a team of 8 to ensure high-quality standards of care are consistently delivered and safeguarding and duties of care are effective.
  • Compliance and Quality: Responsible for compliance across the setting to meet Ofsted guidelines and recommendations, ensuring the club maintains its Outstanding rating.
  • Child Development: Observe and support the growth of over 60 Reception to Year 6 children in play, implementing planning around learning and development.
  • Community Engagement: Foster great relationships with parents, carers, schools, local authorities, and governing bodies to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and education.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted guidelines and recommendations, with the ability to ensure compliance across the setting.
  • Ability to observe and support the growth of children, with a focus on learning and development.
