Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with VOSA regulations.
  • Perform diagnostics and rectify defects effectively.
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections as a primary responsibility.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the workshop environment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work a shift pattern of four days on and four days off.
  • Possess at least an NVQ Level 2 qualification in the maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles, or have a minimum of five years' relevant experience.
  • Provide evidence of qualifications from the awarding body; if lacking an NVQ, passing the IRTEC Service Maintenance Technician exam during the probation period is necessary.
  • While not mandatory, holding a PCV licence would be advantageous.
