Compliance Manager

We are partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer to find a skilled Trade Compliance Manager to join their team in Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance and advice on International Trade Compliance matters to ensure compliance with UK, EU, US, and other Export Control laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with the IS&P LoB to understand Business Winning objectives and ensure early consideration of trade compliance aspects.
- Work alongside Integrated Project Teams to establish Commodity List Classification/Export Control Ratings and Customs classifications.
- Conduct training sessions on Export Control and Trade Compliance to equip IPTs and functions with relevant knowledge.
- Conduct internal Trade Compliance assessments and prepare reports for approval by the Head of Trade Compliance – Electronics Division.
- Extensive experience in export control/trade compliance, including detailed knowledge of UK Export Licensing and Trade Controls.
- Presentation skills for delivering effective training.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP (ECC6 or S4/HANA).
- Understanding of trade compliance considerations for international support programs within the aerospace, defence, and security sector.
This role requires a strong understanding of trade compliance regulations and the ability to provide expert guidance and advice to ensure compliance with UK, EU, US, and other Export Control laws and regulations.
