Job Summary:
This role is focused on the successful delivery of our education pension service, working closely with the team and head of department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of education pension systems and procedures, including Local Govt. and Teachers' Pension Schemes.
- Process pension forms and returns for starters, leavers, changes, and other events.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly pension returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Liaise with payroll teams, schools, and pension schemes to resolve pension queries and provide excellent customer service.
- Work towards demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of education pension fundamentals, staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and best practices.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required to support the team and achieve business objectives.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in work.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
