Polaris Community is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Organic Growth team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our plans to develop new schools that provide outstanding education to our young people across the community.

The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, experience in stakeholder management and budgets, and a strong commitment to making a difference in the lives of our children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the identification of potential new sites and manage the establishment of new schools from purchase through to opening.
  • Ensure all construction and refurbishments are in accordance with the Building Safety Act and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage projects to agreed timeframes and budgets, and build and establish a suitable contractor base to minimize project downtime.
  • Work closely with education specialists to ensure all regulatory compliance is in place to ensure schools open within scheduled timescales.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and reporting documentation to ensure timely communication and successful delivery of assigned projects.
Requirements
  • 1-5 years post Project Management qualification experience.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of RICS requirements and all relevant legislation.
  • Proven excellent project management and inter-personal skills, with previous line management experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and budgets, with a full valid driving license.
