About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Strategy and Architecture Lead to join our team at Viqu Limited. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of cloud technologies and developing strategies to improve our cloud capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cloud strategies to improve our cloud capabilities and drive business growth.
  • Design and architect cloud solutions that are optimized for cost, operations, performance, reliability, and security.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring strategies.
  • Lead the development of a cloud centre of excellence and build a team of cloud experts to support our cloud initiatives.
Requirements
  • Strong background in Azure Cloud, architecture, and strategy.
  • Experience with enterprise applications, IT services, software development, compliance, security, and IT operations disciplines.
  • Experience with cloud migrations, cloud architecture, cloud strategy, networking, security, compliance, workload types, migration patterns/tools, and re-architecting applications for cloud platforms.
  • Experience leading enterprise cloud strategies to ensure the cloud team develops the right services to support the wider IT strategy.
  • Knowledge of cloud design patterns, cloud cost models, and cloud operations with experience suggesting improvements.
