Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Nicholas Associates Group Limited. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately measure and record site works to ensure timely payments.
- Provide early cost advice to clients on variations and identify commercial risks.
- Collaborate with Company buyers to undertake costs analysis and advise on procurement and cost control.
- Produce a range of cost value reports to support project decision-making.
- Value completed work and ensure timely payments to subcontractors.
- Understand the importance of cash flow and timely payments, including retention payments.
- Build strong relationships with client staff and company production staff.
- Allocate work to subcontractors and assist with procurement when required.
- Assist with the development of junior staff members.
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Experience of working for a Residential Groundworks sub-contractor.
- Knowledge of contractual terms within groundworks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to establish and build positive relationships.
