- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote the cognitive, social, and emotional development of children, aligning with the latest research and best practices in early childhood education.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all children and staff.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with the wider community and external partners to enhance the preschool's offerings and support children's well-being.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and staff recruitment, to ensure the smooth operation of the preschool.
- Qualifications: Level 3 in Early Years or above, with a strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery or preschool setting, with a proven track record of leadership and managerial skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation related to early childhood education and care.
