Chief Financial Officer Opportunity in Cornwall

SF Executive is partnering with a Cornwall-based, private equity-backed services and technology organization to find a seasoned Chief Financial Officer.

The organization is experiencing strong growth and requires a CFO who can ensure the finance team and associated infrastructure are well-equipped to support the business. Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to set and drive the strategic direction of the company.

The role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities, including finance, IT, HR, and customer service elements. While 70% of the role will focus on financial matters, the remaining 30% will involve operational aspects.

At the right time, the CFO will lead an exit on behalf of the current private equity backers. We are seeking candidates with experience in leading exit transactions within standalone companies with EBITDA exceeding £1m annually.

We would also consider candidates who have held the position of No 2 to a CFO in a standalone or investor-backed business. This could be an opportunity for someone on the right career trajectory to secure their first PE CFO role.

Given the location of the role, our client will provide an expenses budget to cover travel and accommodation if needed. We would also consider relocators who may be looking to leave the big city in favor of life in the South West.
