Job Title: Junior Power Platform Developer

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Job Type: Contract (Inside IR35)

Rate: £200 - £300 per day

Duration: 6 months (potential for extension)

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Power Platform Developer to join our team at Pharaoh Capital on a contract basis. As a Junior Power Platform Developer, you will play a key role in building, deploying, and maintaining solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Business Applications: Assist in the development of business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
  • Automated Workflows: Support the creation of automated workflows with Power Automate.
  • Data Reporting and Dashboards: Help design and develop data reports and dashboards in Power BI.
  • Integration and Data Management: Work with senior developers to integrate Power Platform with other systems such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Teams.
  • Learn and Grow: Learn to manage and use Dataverse for data storage and entity management.
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Assist in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and Enhancement: Provide support in troubleshooting issues and delivering enhancements to existing solutions.
  • Coding Best Practices: Adhere to coding best practices and ensure compliance with governance and security guidelines.
  • Agile Project Management: Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint reviews to track project progress.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Power Platform Experience: Basic experience in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Power BI Experience: Some knowledge of Power BI and experience in creating reports or dashboards.
  • Microsoft 365 Services: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Low-Code/No-Code Development: Understanding of low-code/no-code development principles.
  • Willingness to Learn: Willingness to learn Dataverse for data management and integration.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and willingness to seek guidance from senior developers.
  • Communication Skills: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with good communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm for Technology: Enthusiasm for technology and a desire to grow within the Power Platform space.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Any certifications in Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., PL-900 or PL-100) are a plus.
  • Power Query and DAX: Exposure to Power Query and DAX in Power BI.
  • Basic Programming Concepts: Familiarity with basic programming concepts (e.g., JavaScript, C#, or SQL).
  • Agile Project Management: Understanding of Agile project management methodologies.

Contract Details:

  • Rate: £200 - £250 per day (Inside IR35)
  • Location: Hybrid (Remote or London/Birmingham)
  • Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension
  • Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
