Maternity Cover GP Opportunity

We are seeking a General Practitioner to provide maternity cover in our busy practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a semi-rural/suburban location near Edinburgh.
  • Work as part of a friendly practice team consisting of 2 partners and 4 salaried GPs.
  • Manage a list of 8250 patients using Vision and Docman clinical Systems.
  • Participate in chronic disease management clinics led by 2 practice nurses.
  • Collaborate with on-site Pharmacists, Community Mental Health Nurse, 2 physiotherapists, and Health Visitors.
  • Work closely with the District Nursing Team based locally.
  • Enjoy daily coffee breaks and protected admin time.

Practice Details:

  • Spacious purpose-built premises with ample parking.
  • Well-established Undergraduate Training program for 4th-year Edinburgh University Medical students.

What We Offer:

  • 24 appointments per day, a mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations.
  • Protected admin time to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
