Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist

We have exciting opportunities for an Electrical and Instrumentation Craftsperson to join our Southern E&I Maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking and overseeing maintenance, fault finding, and project works of a more complex nature on our network assets, Biomethane sites, and servicing external contracts.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake and oversee maintenance, fault finding, and project works on our network assets, Biomethane sites, and external contracts.
- Work on a wide range of equipment including telemetry and electrical systems, pressure and flow monitoring, gas quality systems, safety systems, security systems, and power supply and generation.
- Participate in a standby rota to deliver a 24/7 out-of-hours emergency support service.
- Operate safely and effectively in a planned methodical way or, when necessary, positively in a reactive way.
- NVQ level 3 (or above) in electrical / electronic / Instrumentation engineering or equivalent.
- Dual qualified in Electrical and Instrument preferred but not essential. Open to applicants qualified in individual discipline Electrical or Instrument only.
- IT literacy and a responsible approach to Health and Safety.
- Strong commercial and performance mind-set, with a track record of using innovative solutions to deliver efficiency, value for money and quality for the business.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills and will consistently demonstrate our core behaviours.
- Ability to effectively manage projects and lead teams where necessary.
