About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at BAM FM. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food service, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage food production, preparation, and presentation to meet the needs of our clients and customers.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and waste management to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans for kitchen operations and food service.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume catering environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, health and safety protocols, and company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
