About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Reporting Radiographer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and report on a wide range of pathologies, including paediatric cases.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver an effective and efficient imaging service.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on radiology-related matters.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance processes.
  • Participate in audit and research activities to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Reporting in an appropriate area.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • BSc (Hons) Radiography/Imaging (Diagnostic).
  • Significant post-qualification experience in a radiology department.
  • Relevant clinical courses and continuing professional development.
  • Experience of audit and research, as well as management/supervisory experience.
  • Sound knowledge of radiation protection regulations, including IR(ME)R 2017 and IRR 17.
