Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor - Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Thorn Baker Recruitment Ltd. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend control measures.
  • Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver H&S training programs tailored to construction activities.
  • Investigate construction-related accidents or near-miss incidents and collaborate with management to implement corrective actions.
  • Provide expert advice on construction-specific H&S policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in conducting construction-specific risk assessments and site inspections.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with construction workers.
  • Relevant certification or qualifications in construction health and safety management.
