Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the provision of a comprehensive laboratory service, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Perform core scientific work, utilizing your expertise to analyze samples and provide accurate results.
  • Develop and improve your professional expertise, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Provide basic clinical technical services to patients, including research and audit activities.

Person Specification
  • Essential:
    • 2nd class honours degree or equivalent in a biological science, acceptable by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS).
    • HCPC Registration.
    • Hold the IBMS Specialist Diploma or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
    • 24 months proven experience post-Registration in the relevant discipline.
  • Desirable:
    • Previous experience in a large, busy laboratory.
