Ethero is seeking a highly skilled Site Services Technician - Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our site services.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine checks of plant water on an hourly, daily, and weekly basis to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Perform routine checks on the operation of the cooling towers, including sampling, replenishment of chemicals, and escalation procedures in the event of a failure to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Carry out general maintenance and DIY tasks as needed around the facility to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Maintain site trailers to ensure they are roadworthy and meet all regulatory requirements.
- Complete planned maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
- Complete all necessary administration accurately and on time to ensure seamless operations.
- Work independently, at height, and use manual handling equipment to conduct sampling and other tasks as required.
- Operate a tractor and trailer unit as needed to transport equipment and materials.
- Possess site maintenance and DIY skills, including experience with plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Be able to operate a tractor and trailer unit with confidence and possess a valid driver's license.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Be a good communicator and team player, able to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
- Be able to observe and record accurately, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Possess problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment and knowledge of legionella, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
