Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conversion Lead, Vice President to join our team at State Street. As a key member of our Middle Office Conversion team, you will be responsible for leading the conversion planning and execution process, ensuring a smooth transition to our new systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the conversion planning and execution process, including scoping requirements, engaging with clients, and facilitating data extract setup.
  • Coordinate the activities of up to 10-15 individuals located in different time zones, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain data maps to show the flow from legacy systems to our in-house system.
  • Drive the data conversion development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, client acceptance, and implementation.
  • Lead issue resolution and gap closure, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Serve as a client-facing contact for all conversion-related activities, providing excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Collaborate with global teams to bring regional and global teams together, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, plus 7-10 years of relevant financial industry experience.
  • Or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, plus 3 years of relevant pre- or post-Master's financial industry experience.
  • Demonstrated high-level knowledge or experience in Capital markets, including Middle Office, Securities, Bank Loans, IBOR/ABOR, Transaction Management, or system knowledge of RKS, CRIMS, Eagle, Eagle Star, PAM, Portia, WSO, or other.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with ability to effectively run meetings and collaborate across teams and functions.
  • Intermediate to high-level skill in team management, with proven ability to work in a high-paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Working knowledge of data quality measures across referential, completeness, tolerance, index, and business-driven data qualitative and quantitative measures.
  • Solid ability to proactively identify potential issues and drive resolution.
  • Experience owning initiatives/projects related to Middle Office Client Onboarding.
  • Proven intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Access skills, as well as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or other project management software experience.
  • Solid understanding of Data Warehouses and Databases, including SQL.
