Job Title: Procurement and Financial Lead

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded motor insurance claims procurement professional to join the UKGI Claims Supply Chain team at Aviva.

The purpose of the role is to maximise value through the end-to-end commercial management of Aviva's motor claims supply chain. You will apply appropriate commercial, contractual, supplier relationship management, regulatory, risk management and category management skills, tools and techniques in order to drive value for money through the identification and delivery of new initiatives, demonstrate category expertise and be at the forefront of new emerging technologies and market changes; mitigate and manage risk; and support delivery of our Net Zero ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement sourcing and supply chain strategies that combine knowledge of the markets with a deep understanding of the business requirements.
  • Apply commercial and stakeholder management skills to build strong internal business and supplier relationships.
  • Lead change management initiatives and optimise strategy to deliver Commercial, SRM, or Category Management within a demanding, fast evolving environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and deliver new initiatives that drive value for money and support the delivery of our Net Zero ambitions.
Requirements:
  • Procurement background and a knowledge of GI Motor Claims Procurement/Supply Chain or Financial Services essential and Motor Accidental Damage experience highly preferred.
  • MCIPS qualification / educated to business / finance degree level or equivalent preferable.
