About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at Boost inc. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations in the UK, providing technical expertise and ensuring the smooth functioning of our vending machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide preventive maintenance and installations for vending machines, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
  • Install new vending machines across the UK, conducting on-site testing and training customers on their use.
  • Respond to reported machine breakdowns, resolving issues remotely or through on-site visits as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the helpdesk and other operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage vehicle spare part stock and tools to carry out assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Relevant work experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role, preferably in vending, automated retail, or dispense technologies.
  • Electrical background or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent technical aptitude, fault-finding skills, and ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus.
  • Good understanding of health and safety guidelines and willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally abroad.
