Job Description

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the A Level Geography programme and EPQ enrichment programme at Bridgwater & Taunton College. This involves ensuring students are achieving their target grades and fulfilling their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver the A Level Geography and EPQ programmes, ensuring the syllabus is delivered in a constructive manner.
  • Lead a team of staff to contribute to the College's expectations of quality.
  • Take part in the college quality process, providing termly analysis on student progress and implementing interventions when required.
  • Co-ordinate a highly effective teaching, learning and assessment experience for students.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, enthusiastic and strong team player who strives to deliver the best possible outcomes for students. They will be an excellent teacher, demonstrating flexibility in their approach to adapt to the various levels and needs of learners.
