As a Clinical Drug Delivery Device Lead, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure timely support and lead sub-teams to select and assess appropriate devices.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategies for drug delivery devices in clinical trials.
- Collaborate with clinical, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, safety, and subject matter expert teams to support clinical trials.
- Lead sub-teams to ensure the selection and assessment of drug delivery devices.
- Perform technical assessments for devices used in clinical trials and selected by contract research organizations.
- Relevant academic background, ideally in nursing or medicine.
- Strong knowledge of medical devices and pharmaceutical environments.
- Experience in clinical trials setup.
- Understanding of issues and challenges in selecting devices for clinical trials from first-in-human to Phase 4.
- Thorough knowledge of Medical Devices Regulations (EU MDR, 21CFR part 820, ISO13485) and Good Practices (GMP and GCP).
