Position: Nursery Nurse

Location: Bradford

Salary: £12.82 to £15 per hour

Start Date: Immediate

Empowering Learning is collaborating with a Private Nursery in Bradford seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse to assist in two distinct rooms, catering to both younger and older children.

Your role will encompass various nursery responsibilities both on-site and off-site.


Duties:
  • Support the Nursery Manager and team in executing educational programs and activities for children.
  • Provide assistance to children with special educational needs.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Assist children with daily activities, including personal care and hygiene.
  • Encourage children's academic and social growth.
  • Work alongside the Nursery Manager and colleagues to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for children.
  • Track children's progress and offer feedback to the Nursery Manager.
  • Help establish management and behavior strategies.

Skills:
  • Experience in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting.
  • Understanding of special education methodologies is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive disposition towards working with children.
  • Capability to adapt to various situations and manage challenging behaviors.
  • Knowledge of toddler care and development is advantageous.

This role requires a compassionate individual committed to addressing the needs of Early Years students. The Nursery Nurse will collaborate closely with the Nursery Manager to cultivate a nurturing and inclusive educational environment. Prior experience with children, especially in EYFS, is essential. Effective communication skills are crucial for successful collaboration with children, parents, and colleagues. The ability to adjust to diverse situations and manage challenging behaviors is vital.
