About the Role:

Brightwork Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Traffic Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management and control of our UK-wide fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the daily fleet operations, ensuring a first-class professional service provision is delivered to all client organisations.
  • Develop and implement load planning and scheduling strategies to optimize fleet efficiency and productivity.
  • Prioritize workload and route planning to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Respond to and manage alterations or issues affecting operational activities, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Conduct daily driver briefings and debriefings to ensure drivers are aware of their responsibilities and any changes to operations.
  • Monitor and manage tachograph tracking and data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing UK-wide fleet operations, with a strong understanding of load planning and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively react to operational change requirements.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, to meet business demands.
