As a Production Coordinator at Black Kite Studios, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-end VFX projects. You will work closely with our Producers and EP's on large-scale projects, as well as lead on smaller budget initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Support: Assist Producers & EP's with tasks including bidding, scheduling, shot list creation, and project setup.
- Communication Management: Manage the flow of communication between departments, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Talent Management: Liaise with Scheduling on artist assignment and bookings, guaranteeing the right talent is assigned to the right projects.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with the Production and Creative teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Daily Sessions: Attend dailies sessions, take notes, distribute feedback, and follow up on action items.
- Schedule Review: Regularly review schedules to ensure projects are on track, escalating any issues to the Producer/Leads & Supervisors.
- Outsource Partnerships: Liaise with outsource partners, sending shots for tracking, roto/prep, and working with Leads and Supes to ensure received work meets expectations.
- CETA Management: Ensure CETA is up to date for all projects.
- Workflow Development: Set up ShotGrid pages and help develop and refine workflows within it.
- Client Communication: Assist with sending out WIPS/links to clients, ensuring best practice communication.
- Pitching Support: Support the pitching process as needed, helping to create decks as required.
- Ad-Hoc Support: Provide ad-hoc production administration and support as needed.
- Experience: Prior experience working as a Production Coordinator on high-end VFX projects in Advertising, TV, or Film.
- VFX Pipeline Understanding: Solid understanding of the VFX pipeline.
- Colour Grading: Understanding of Colour Grading and related workflows.
- CETA/Scheduling Software: Experience working with CETA or other bidding and scheduling software.
- Career Progression: Desire to progress your career in Advertising VFX Production.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Team Player: Great team player with excellent communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to balance priorities effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident in dealing with people of all levels of seniority.

- ShotGrid/FTrack Experience: Experience working with ShotGrid or FTrack is a plus.
