About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team at the Annandale Medical Centre. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our practice's nursing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing services to patients, including treatment, screening, and advice within your professional competence.
- Work independently in the surgery, possessing the initiative and confidence necessary to do so.
- Have charge of the treatment room, maintain an adequate level of supplies, including vaccines, and be responsible for cleaning and sterilization of instruments.
- Carry out duties in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and with regard to the various practice protocols.
Person Specification
- NMC registered practice nurse.
- Experience of disease management, including diabetes, COPD, and asthma.
- Contraception and HRT experience.
- EMIS trained.
