The post holder will be encouraged to attend the weekly teaching course at least 4 times a year, focusing on case conferences, journal clubs, and expert teaching. They will also be encouraged to attend trust-wide multidisciplinary team teaching once a month.
Main Duties- Provide medical leadership to the multidisciplinary team.
- Act as the Responsible Clinician, involved in section 12 work, attending tribunals, and section renewal meetings.
- Be responsible for 14 inpatients at Honeysuckle Lodge.
- Provide cover for urgent issues at Oak Lodge.
- Attend ward rounds during the week at designated times.
- Attend to reviews on the ward during the week.
- Lead CPA meetings and be actively involved in care planning and risk assessment.
- Take a lead in capacity assessments and best interest meetings.
- Conduct second opinion assessments within the rehab division as required.
