Job Title: Cleaning Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Assistant to join our team at ABM UK. As a Cleaning Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office and events venue premises.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Hoovering/mopping, cleaning washrooms and kitchens, carrying out deep cleans as required, and using buffers and carpet cleaners.
  • Health and Safety: Ensuring premises are safe and disinfected regularly, removing waste, replenishing consumables and supplies, and attending reactive jobs (spillages).
  • Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service while working alongside our clients and their staff.

Person Specification:

  • Essential Skills:
    • Previous cleaning experience, preferably with a focus on unsupervised work and prioritizing workload.
    • Strong customer service and leadership skills.
    • Problem-solving and time management skills.
    • Ability to work to set schedules and on own initiative.
    • Flexible and proactive attitude.
    • Understanding and knowledge of health and safety policies.
  • Desirable Skills:
    • Ability to represent ABM values on site by being presentable, uniformed, and helpful at all times.
    • Willingness to go the extra mile.
