Job Description

We're seeking a motivated Senior Building Control Surveyor to join our team in the South of England. The role is based in our Solent office, with a hybrid model that allows for 3 days in the office or on site and 2 days at home, depending on site visits and client meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake plan checks submitted for Building Regulation approval.
  • Conduct site visits, prepare site visit reports, and witness tests.
  • Attend client and design team meetings to provide professional advice on building control work.
  • Familiarize yourself with and use our management systems, including our Quality Management system.
  • Operate in accordance with commercial requirements, including costs and programme.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll have a MRICS, MCABE, or MCIOB qualification (or be working towards) and experience in a similar role. You'll also need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to develop the business by introducing new clients and expanding the workload.
