The plants also recycle food waste packaging, providing an environmentally sustainable solution for waste producers seeking a safe method of diverting food waste from landfill.

The Role

We are seeking a Service Delivery Driver - Class C to join our team at our Widnes site, working up to 48 hours per week, over 5 days, Monday to Friday, in line with EU Drivers Hours rules and the Working Time Directive (WTD). As a Service Delivery Driver - Class C, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting and exchanging 240 ltr wheelie bins from clients' premises, containing food and catering waste.
  • Returning the wheelie bins to the Widnes site and offloading the material into hoppers.
  • Completing all required documentation.
  • Ensuring the vehicle is well maintained and clean, undertaking required vehicle checks.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be flexible in regard to start and finish times due to business requirements, with shifts based in the afternoon, typical start time of 11.00am. You will also need to act as an ambassador on behalf of the company, ensuring a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
