Are you an experienced professional in Payroll and Pensions with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to operational excellence? As a Payroll, Pensions & Benefits Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our workforce.

You will be responsible for managing the complete payroll cycle for a multi-site organization, administering pension plans, and overseeing employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
  • Manage and oversee employee benefit programs.
  • Prepare and present monthly payroll reports and financial journals.
  • Maintain precise and current HR & Payroll documentation.
  • Execute a comprehensive payroll process from start to finish.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, providing first-line support and escalating issues as needed.
  • Assist management and staff with payroll-related questions, including compensation, expenses, taxation, holiday calculations, and sick leave.
  • Oversee payroll operations including onboarding, status changes, terminations, statutory maternity pay, statutory sick pay, company vehicles, allowances, and monthly data entry.

Qualifications:

  • CIPP qualification is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Significant payroll experience within a large organization.
  • Previous experience in the education or public sector is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of accountability and prioritization.
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
