About Whitbread: As the owner of Premier Inn, we are dedicated to sustainability through our comprehensive program, Force for Good, which is integral to our operations.
Our Commitment: We strive to address the intricate social and environmental issues of today and tomorrow, aiming for meaningful and positive transformations.
To date, we have successfully raised £22M for Great Ormond Street Hospital, earned the Top Employer Award for 13 consecutive years, and significantly reduced our direct GHG emissions over the past five years as we work towards achieving Net Zero by 2040. We also launched our first hotel last year, fully powered by renewable energy, but recognize that there is still much to accomplish to reach our objectives.
Role Overview: In this position, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the effective execution of our ESG reporting. This involves collaborating with various stakeholders within the organization to coordinate, collect, audit, and assess sustainability data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and information related to our Force for Good initiative.
Location: Dunstable, hybrid model - a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
Employment Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Reporting and Communications Manager in executing the Force for Good reporting program.
- Support data collection for KPIs to enable effective reporting.
- Oversee the implementation of Whitbread's internal communications strategy.
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of external communications regarding the Force for Good initiative through our corporate and brand websites.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for sustainability, environmental reporting, and relevant regulations.
- Experience in data management and reporting.
- Excellent influencing skills, with a proven ability to engage and motivate employees.
- Project management experience is advantageous.
