Job Title: Assistant Accountant

**About the Role:**

MCS Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and assistance to the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Contribute to the payroll process for the company, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and submit Value Added Tax (VAT) returns to the relevant authorities.
  • Provide coverage for other roles within the finance team as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Part-qualified accountant or qualified by experience, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
